http://fairuse.100webcustomers.com/fairenough/latimesB62.html Yahoo is fully behind Bush's failed war. Pathetic.

I wouldn't believe anything dealing with such a liberal, humanistic paper.

How could that be true when they were asking for about, I think, 10,000 more troops not even 6 months ago?

I'm, sorry, your question is misleading... where did it saw we should withdraw? I saw talk about a cutback in troops in Iraq, but not a withdraw, possibly to half. The article even said Bush was moving toward a downsize.

So Yahoo has a different headline. Whats wrong with a headline that isn't so liberally biased for once? I saw another example, one paper had a headline that said "Sexual Harassment Persists at the AF Academy Despite Efforts", and a second headline that said, "Sexual Harassment at the AF Academy Down to 6%." Same story... it just showed the paper bias.

So, for years, politicians cry about the "liberal bias" of the media, now you are saying that the Yahoo media has a conservative bias???
Besides that, read the article that you referenced. It describes what the Joint Chief is LIKELY TO SAY at some point in the future in a private conversation with the President.
Bottom line, regardless of your Politics, have a little respect for the Office of the Presidency.
The President should always be referred to as either "the President" or "President . Unless you are addressing him personally, and the you would address him as "Mr. President. Again, it is about respect for the INSTITUTION, not the individual.

You have to read a whole bunch of paragraphs down in the story you posted a link to before it even mentions that General Pace will go onto the retired List on October 1, 2007. Pathetic....

Yep, I've noticed that a lot lately--the actual AP headline is a lot different than what YAHOO puts up.

Not what the L.A. Times is reporting. General Pace did not say anything, the Times is saying that he is likely to say this and that. How do they know what he is likely to say...

Consider your source and what it is saying, stop making stuff up!!!
