Better start flushing all that dope down the toilet right now. Cops can get warrants in a matter of minutes if it's urgent enough.

Wow, the fact that you had a heads up on them getting a warrant is pretty great. I would expect 24-48 hours depending on what the police have against you to present to the judge.

Now when they decide to enforce the warrant also depends on the severity of the evidence they need to collect from your premises.

That would depend. The Police must first have probable cause. Once they have established PC they must then type up the affidavits and then present them to a judicial official to sign. Developing PC can take days (or longer) or just seconds. Typing the affidavits can depend on how long it takes the officers to type. Then they have to seek out a judge or other qualified official to sign the warrant. It could take an hour or more. It just depends on the circumstances.

I can't understand why the Police would want to search an entire city.
