Why i ask this is because when Christians talk about God they talk about someone that is an entity and refer to God as a him.
Everyone has a different point of view of what God is so maybe it is time we should find a different word for God to get away from the traditional meanings of God?

YES!!!!! It doesn't matter to me WHAT word we use, as long as it is not male only, or female only for that matter.

How about "Spirit" for what it is,and use the pronoun "It" capitalized to show respect, but which is clearly gender neutral???

Hopeful,
Lady Morgana

I agree with Lady Morgana. Spirit and 'It' would be nice. I understand how/why some still say 'God' and don't mean the OT one, but it still annoys me, no matter how much I try to reason through it. Not only does the concept of a male creator deity bother me but I also get upset about the singular idea. I don't know why that bugs me.

God is a Him, because Masculinity symbolizes power.
God's creation is refered to as the Feminine, because women are seen as the creative power.

Throughout time, masculine and feminine have attracted a peculiar personality, and the ancient sages use that.

God is masculine because that force is described as that,
Whereas His creation can be better discussed through the philosophical representation of the feminine as the all-creating energy.
