Humble little lady I think that you sound like a very loving and giving individual and should absolutely NOT change.
The world is so full of selfishness that people like you are rare indeed.
You just gotta get smart, and learn to say NO.
Judge when a friend or relative REALLY do need your help and decide for yourself whether they are deserving of it.
You should know when a person is taking advantage of you, and when you do either say tell them that this is not fair or just do not help them any longer.
People WILL start to respect you and start taking notice of you as you start to respect YOURSELF.
But whatever you do, PLEASE do not change who you are, because a heart so caring and true is hard to find, good look humble little lady

Humble little lady,
Hi!

How are you? How is life? Still upset?
Do not worry Dear humble LITTLE lady, “time is a good healer” and I am dead sure - soon every thing will be fine.

I am not sure what exact meaning you understand from word Depression (it has some bad/naughty meanings too) but I am sure that you are taking the word depression as a sadness.

Let me share you one story of Deer’s Sadness in short.
Once upon a time in a far away jungle there used to be sweet deer, and uncle elephant. One day deer was very sad because of her worthless horns which were heavy for her size. Uncle Elephant convinced her by saying, “it is part of your life and you should not take it as a burden”.

For a living being always happy (happiness) is also a problem, scientists says so. So, to make a balance, nature has created sadness. Sadness is a natural feeling. So, Cheer up little lady… in our life there were many sadness (remember) and – “it came to past”! Nothing lasts forever. Face your problems and soon you will be proud that you faced it.

You mentioned your relationship problems and after reading your problem for many times, now I say to you, “You are not the only person who is having relationship problem in this earth.” Whatever moves or breathes in this planet are making problems to others knowingly or unknowingly. It is the rule of the Nature. Is it really a problem?

Frogs make sounds in rainy season… and do you know why? Simple! Because they are advertising by making large sounds to attract others. And it works! It attracts.
To attract others towards you, you have to show/advertise what is best in you. And be patience, sometimes it can take a long time but it always works.

Have you noticed your 5 fingers of your hand? They are different! If fingers of your own hand are different, how a different people can be similar? Every people have different nature, character and personality.
Nobody is perfect by birth and learning is a life long process. It takes time to make a good relationship.

There are many way to help in your situation. You can ask/seek expert person’s help (e.g. family psychologist or your Doctor) or you can ask help from your elder people (e.g. relatives).

Yes, time to change! To change others - first change yourself.

Summary:

Drinking 2 or 3 glass of water in your sad period of time is good.
Some people take deep breath 5 or 10 times in their sad times or before meeting with irritating people.
Charm your family members with your beautiful smile. Be polite. Do not raise your voice.
Tell them that you need more attention in your polite voice.

It takes time!

I really hope it will work!
Have a wonderful time.
Bye!

How old are you? You seem to have a real down on life but the way you have set the question I get the feeling you are fairly young? Dont always jump in to help your family out and then feel slighly dejected. It may be that you are so dependable for you family they do not think you could have problems.

See your friends, get out more, get involved with an interest that YOU want to do, that way you remove yourself from a harmful environment and will meet people who THINK like you.

Good luck

you sound pretty young ( teenager) youngish i guess but anyway. you are someone i can relate too. do you have any brothers and sisters? are u the youngest or the oldest? are you an only child. your family does love you and care for you otherwise they wouldent let u stay in their house. attention isnt everything, make yourself happy go pull some boys, if your parents are ignoring you dont ignore them but dont talk too much to them. its easy for me to say all of this but believe me its very hard. i dont even do it myself. yep i'm a teenager whose depressed :) i dont broadcast it all over the world, i lock it up inside of me, which is bad and you need to make sure that if this ''treatment'' from you perents carry on, you need to sit them down, and tell them to stop using you mishaps as a conversation starter ( happenes to me) and tell them what you feel. but dont burst into tears. be strong. life is too short for worrying about not getting enough attention.

i too have a simalar problem, but i know it is very hard to actually do what i sed. but good luck and BE STRONG.

Try to keep a book and write down all your worries and how you would like to deal with it, that way you might be able to see a pattern of where all of this stems from. Also see your GP who might refer you for counselling which might help. Be strong! Good luck.
