And there's only one answer received. And that answer is terrible!! Is there a way to choose no best answer or should I just answer my own question using a second id?
sheesh.

That happened to me once. I chose it as best answer, but in the comments part I put that this was the only responce so that's why it was chosen. I also had to give it one star because that's the least I could give. Now I would just let it expire, but I was a newbie at the time.

I've had that happen. I do one of two things, I either give the person one star and explain that I don't really have a choice, or I delete the question, and then later ask it again hoping for a better audience.

You could delete the question yourself and then re-ask at a different time when a different crowd of folks are roaming the boards.

Asking questions here are sometimes like fishing - you have to cast your line - wind it back - and then cast again.

Peace hon!

Give them best answer to get 3 of your own points back, and in the comments section say "This answer sucks."

That has happened to me twice. I couldn't accept the one answer so I deleted the question.
