I recently was drunk and a friend offered cocaine to me. It was the first time i tried it in 2 years and i did too much. Anyways, i couldnt breathe, my heart felt like it had a "clamp" around it, i got extreme anxiety, and felt like i was going to die. It scared me enough to never try it again. The euphoria i was seeking was replaced with terror. Maybe its gods way of waking me up. Has any one else ever had a scare like this?

Yes. My roommate in college was drunk and some hotty boy offered her coke. Then he gave her a roofie. I found her in the bathroom with a bloody nose and foam coming out of her mouth. She wasn't breathing very well. Needless to say,she almost died. She spent three days in a coma and another month and a half in the hospital with brain damage. She got lucky, and her brain function returned to mostly normal. She was able to come back to school.

You may want to consider NA or AA. You obviously have a problem controlling your impulses while under the influence. Get some support.

Alrite... First of all, apparently your friend is a smartass. You cant be giving coke for someone who has never done it before / hasn't done it for a long time - in the same dose that you use to have. Everyone has different reaction towards cocaine, and its all depends on their body's system. Some people can handle large dose the first time they try and they'd be fine. some people try just one tiny little line and end up OD or dead.
If you have heart problem you cant be doing coke. If cant handle stuff with caffeine in it, you shouldnt do coke.or if you choose to do it, you gotta do it in a very small dose.
The thing with cocaine is that it gives you instant high but only for a short period of time, then you'd want to feel that euphoria again, want to get high again, so you do more coke cuz you thought you can handle it. Well guys...just becuz you've reached your "down time" doesnt mean your body can handle another line.
You shouldnt do coke if you cant control the dose, you shouldnt do it with someone who doesnt know the safe dose, bottom line, you shouldnt do it all.
but if you choose to do it, then do it in a small dose at first, see how you react to it and slowly-I repeat- SLOWLY build up your dose if you want to feel high longer. If you feel like you want to do more lines, give it at least half an hour after the previous line you did.its better to do a few times of small dose than 1 large dose at once. its just much safer.

Im telling you this not to encourage you to do cocaine. As I said, you shouldnt do it at all. I've seen someone dropped dead right before my eyes for doing just a little bit of coke. But as I said, if you choose to do it, then i have the obligation to tell you how to do it safely. I dont know you and have no way to make you stop doing it. There's alot of organization taking care of it,so its not my job.
anyway, I've never had the scare like that.

I've personally never done it, and it's because I was scared of those things you described. I have an anxiety disorder anyway, so I can just imagine me on cocaine. Sure, I've been curious about it, but in the end, I just left it alone. That's probably a good thing that you didn't enjoy it your first time. I know too many people who loved it the first time and never looked back.

That sounds horrible. I've never had anything like that happen to me with cocaine but I did have a mild seizure after heavy drinking on benzos (prescribed for my anxiety). After the seizure, I had 'the shakes' for 2 days. That was enough to make me quit drinking after years of drinking alcoholically. I don't use any drugs anymore either.
