We have a Canon Elph, and the LCD display on the back of the camera has a nasty scratch on it. Is there any product out there, that would remove the scratch?

This is not for the lens of the camera...just FYI. The lens is fine. It's the digital LCD display in the back of the camera that is scratched up. Is there a product for LCD displays that gets rid of scratches?

Thanks!

There is no product that I know of that will remove scratches. The LCD display is a very fine and thin layered sheet of optical quality glass. It's easy to scratch, but you will probably want to get it replaced if it bothers you.

Take a look at this website:

I have no idea if it will work on an LCD so use at your own risk. Maybe you can find something to practice on before going after the scratch. Good luck. Please let me know if it works.

Bill G has the right idea. There are also kits designed to fix scratches on CDs and DVDs. Some fill in the crack, others polish the crack out.

I doubt you can remove the scratch. You can probably have it replaced and then ask about some sort of protective cover for it.

You can also go to cameraarmor.com and bonicadive.com and see what protective coverings they have for your camera.
