We walk by faith, not by feelings.
Mother Teresa had faith even when there was no feeling.
That is an example to all of us.

just goes to show the depth one can go when the brain washing is right.... why should we give credit to someting non existant when we could be free of religion all together and just live by our own consciences.... she lived her life in lies... why do people continue when looking at the truth be only what could be described as evil... the hatred outweighs the good every time.... let the TRUTH be your guide, not the church of lie.. all christian church come from the catholic teachings...

One more example of the unconditional love and faithfulness of the greatest saints of all time. Read the Christian classic work "Dark Night of the Soul" by Saint John of the Cross. Mother Teresa is obviously his spiritual equal. Why have there never been any non-Catholic persons who have attained such transcendent levels of spirituality?

50 years is a blink in eternity.
Mother Theresa did wonderful things during her lifetime and doesn't need comments like this posted as an attempt to sway people from what she herself believed . I am not of a particular faith but find your tactic extremely low on the scale of decent discussion.

Im not familiar with that quote and I don't know that Mother Theresa said it...but...when a person is born-again they immediately feel the presence of God in their lives.
All burdens from sin are removed and you become a new creation.
And here is the proof that is is true. From the word of God
" let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written"

“It would be surprising if she hadn’t,” he said. “It’s really very simple. People have to realise that the Church does not canonise God. She was a human being, not a cartoon super hero like Batman or Superman, and she faced reality. Even the saints are faced with the difficulties of life.”

The correspondence, which spans most of Mother Teresa's life, shows that she felt alone and in a state of spiritual pain from around 1949, roughly the time when she started taking care of the poor and dying in Calcutta.
Mother Teresa, who is likely to be canonised, admitted that she had begun to doubt God
Although she publicly proclaimed that her heart belonged "entirely to the Heart of Jesus", she wrote to the Rev Michael Van Der Peet, a spiritual confidant, in September 1979 that "Jesus has a very special love for you. As for me, the silence and emptiness is so great that I look and do not see, listen and do not hear. The tongue moves [in prayer] but does not speak."
The letter was written just a few weeks before she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her charitable work.

She was a good person. Her life made a difference, we should all aspire to touch people as she did.
Through wisdom she learned God is a delusion. It is hard for people to learn that everything they think they know is just make believe.

I don't believe it. Remember the footprints in the sand. In my life God has not spoken to me but as I live his love is there for all to see by the way you live. Look at her life and you will see Goo's love. If you cannot you better check your Christianity.

What proof do you have that she didn't feel God's love? Wasn't that 50 years love of God or hate of God?
