What amazes me is that few people get the concept of Christianity...... It does !!!! ...... Either you are Christian or your not....... that is a simple statement, but says it all...... NOT all who say it or so though..... A Christian believes and follows the Bible....... NOT just believes IN God......Lots to explain about the Bible, but that is NOT what you are asking about soooo....... NO it is NOT a scare tactic nor is it a pushing button device to use against others..... IF a person is Christian, we KNOW,YES those that are an *enemy* of God, which is the non-believers, will NOT spend their eternal life with Jesus, BUT, as humans we do NOT know who those people will be...... what goes on between a person and God BEFORE that last breath is taken, is known ONLY to God............. and NO it is NOT ungodly, it is written in Gods Word..... We have HOPE in Jesus that each person will be in heaven.......... and NO for those who think we are arrogant, we are NOT, it is OUR FAITH walk, just as yours is to NOT walk our path......... go in peace.......... God bless

It's neither naive nor unGodly as this is what the word of God clearly tells us..

Mt 7:13

"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

The ones who are truly naive...are the ones who refuse to see.

I'm still waiting for the verses that show that Jesus said "accept me or burn in hell forever". Most of the whole "non-belief deserves hell" comes straight from the followers.... not Jesus or the Bible (only in Pauls writings will you find that one must accept the death and resurrection of Jesus in order to be "saved"... Jesus himself NEVER says a person is saved by believing in his death/resurrection). It's a scare tactic... to place doubt in people so they can add another notch to their "People I've Saved" belt.

Is it a scare tactic? No.. if God wanted to "Force" your love out of you, He could just as easily created us with no choice in the matter.

What hell is ...is eternal seperation from God. Maybe it's not even fire. Who knows the exact details, on this side of a heartbeat? What we do know is two things, 1) eternal, 2) absent from anything from God - joy, peace, happiness, anything good. All that's left is that which does not come from God's nature...pain, suffering, grief, sorrow.

See...the main thing to remember, is God so wants you to be with Him, and not have to endure the punishment He created not for us, but for angels...He took the punishment upon Himself.

And I think that's the point most folks forget.....so let me say it again.

God took the punishment upon Himself!

As for never hearing this message (which can't apply to anyone who's reading our posts), is this....God will be perfect in His judgement...as He knows all attributes of your heart, my heart, and all hearts, He will also know the decision we would have made...He will look to the life the person led.

One thing we won't be able to argue with, is a Perfect decision regarding the perfection of justice.

I think Jesus led a life of holiness and what he was pretty much saying was if you follow 'Him' (which is how he lived) then you will go to 'Heaven' (Jesus also said that heaven is within each believer). So wouldn't that also mean that hell is in each believer as well? Jesus taught that LOVE was the greatest commandment, right? I believe that Jesus was saying that depending on how you live your life you find heaven OR hell in each situation depending on how you interpret it. Also I believe that when Jesus told us to accept Him as our 'Savior' he meant to view his life as an example to live our lives.

Christians believe the bible. The bible says that the only way to the kingdom of God is repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as savior.

For those who have never heard the name of Jesus Christ, I don't know how God will judge them.

If you don't accept God by what ever name you call him into your life, then yes you will go to hell. We all know people that will probably go to hell it is not for us to judge them but we know them none the less. Only for those that go to heaven we will never remember who these people were, even if they were very close to us.

It isn't true. All who where never given the opportunity to accept Christ and His gospel in this life through no fault of their own WILL be given the opportunity in spirit prison...remember that Jesus taught there. We are to do our best to reach out to as many as we can who are hungering for the Gospel...but God HAS made contingencies for those we can't get to.

All will have another chance. They will be taught the Gospel. Even if you still don't wish to follow it, there are still many mansions in my Father's Kingdom.
