Hear me well. The secret of salvation lies not in education, but in REALIZATION!

Without understanding to modify their influence over us, words, become hypnotic.

We spend our entire existence being programmed, and resisting programming, and struggling against the effect words have on us, not only on a psychological level, but on a physiological level as well.

Can this be true, and is this you own life's experience ?
You tell me?

What say you all ?

The first deadly sin of the spoken word is that which bid us to study and concentrate on "holy writting" in order to acquire understanding and the salvation of the Lord. But was not the quest for knowledge the very sin that led to our fall?
If we heed the poison in this advice and give credence to the spoken of written word, instead of trying to Understand the Reality it seeks to awaken us to, we simply duplicate the original sin.

Isn't that right ?

What say you all - religious faith of all persuasion and secular thinkers - what's you opinion in this ?

I would say that education equals realisation. If you wish to turn your back on education you may as well just pack up that computer you're using and send it back to the manufacturer and go sit in a darkened room for the rest of your life.
Doesn't sound like much fun does it?

It is a true statement, "The letter kills, the spirit gives life"

Adam & Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil and died spiritually.
We need to come to God and seek him with all our heart and mind, THEN we will find him. Jeremiah 29:11-13
God will then give us the understanding of his word & the ability to be changed in the innermost being. Amen!

There was a reason that slaves were not allowed to learn how to read and that, until just recently, Christians were not allowed to read the bible for themselves.
