This is about the most accurate statement of Stewart that I've ever heard a NASCAR commentator make. Very funny. :-P

Tony O'donnell doesn't have a chance at the chase btw.

You are wrong. I've known Tony for a couple of years. He's nothing like Rosie. Yes, he speaks his mind but that's nothing. He's also won two championships unlike JR. I really don't appreciate these comments either by you or the commentator. He's also very charitable to many causes like children, pets, and current and former drivers.

Well, Rosie believes our government directly destroyed the World Trade Center and bombed the Pentagon as an excuse to invade Iraq.

Tony believes NASCAR throws bogus yellows to keep him from winning.

So it looks like they both believe in conspiracies and tend to run their mouths while believing their brains are engaged.

Whenever I hear either one of them speak I have the same reaction...........disgust.

It's a shame about Tony as I really like the way he can drive a car but I can't pull for him, especially after the wrasslin' remark. Not many lifelong fans can forgive that.

I wonder what Tony may say if in the last race of the Chase, he's trailing the leader by nearly a lap and needs the win to secure a Cup and a debris caution comes out with less than 20 laps to go.

Does anyone think Tony will fail to take advantage of the caution to close on the Leader because he doesn't want to be part of any conspiracy?

Although i agree about the comment on Tony being the Rosie O'Donnell of Nascar, i do not agree with you when you say Tony doesn't have a chance at the chase. Thats CRAZY!!! I am not a Stewart fan, but i won't say something thats not true about him! He is a great driver and he knows how to win races. He is a Former Champion, so we know he can do it! Tony Stewart not having a chance in the Chase? Thats just CRAZY!!!!

Go RCR!!!!
Go Jeff Burton!!!!

Hyd, you don't have a fricking clue about anything nascar related do you? Tony Stewart is easily one of the top 5 drivers in nascar. Even non fans of his would agree with that. So where does the reference to Rosie O'Donnell come from? WHat a stupid statement. geez

Rosie said the only people in the world who should have guns are her bodyguards. She's a wimp who wants other people to protect her while she abuses all decent people with her ignorant rants.
When Tony speaks he hides behind no one.
I never heard of this Tony O'donnell you speak of, and maybe if you ever grow up you will learn how wrong you are now.

I'll agree Tony may like to whine, but the fact that he says what's on his mind, whatever it may be, is what makes me like him. Nascar wouldn't be any fun if all the drivers did nothing except smile for the cameras and thank the sponsors. Plus he's one of the best drivers out there, 2 cup championships, along with an IRL championship, need I say more?

If being "Rosie O'Donnell" means speaking your mind and not worrying about what corporate sponsors want to hear, I guess Smoke is "Rosie." However, Tony accepts responsibility for his misconduct and usually makes reparation to the affected party. He also gives a lot of money to charity.

BTW- he's pretty much locked into the chase. And, he'll be in first or second when it begins. And, he does pretty well at all of the tracks in the chase.

NASCAR needs more people like Tony. In my opinion NASCAR has been an out of control "grab the money and run" organization that makes up the rules as they go along ever since the death of Dale Sr. With all that being said, they still have the best show in racing or sports in general.... Go figure.
