your sty is usually caused by a blocked oil gland on your eye lid. When the blockage is relieved and drained is when it will go away. It may go away on its own, but if it looks like it is getting worse and not better in a week, you need to go see your doctor for some doxycycline. In the meanwhile, the best thing to do is to remove any makeup on that eye, and keep nice, soothing warm wet compresses on it. You can apply a little pressure if that makes it feel better, but do not attempt to burst it or anything like that on your own, you do not want to spread any infection or make matters worse. also, please keep unsanitized coins and rings away from your eye, you really do not need conjuntivitis as well...

I get sties in my eyes also. This is what works for me but first I must say you should never ever squeeze them, it could cause a bad infection that could kill you if it spreads to the brain.
You want to alternate hot and cold compresses on them. Make sure it is hot but not scolding hot. This will bring it to a head sooner and it will drain so make sure you clean the eye with a moist wash rag. If it is a small one it is gone in about a day to three days but if it is a larger one it takes anywhere from three days to a week to clear up.
Some people believe they are caused by make up, but I get them if I wear make up or not.
I don't know about rubbing a cat's tail on it or the gold ring, I would think that would be a way to cause more infection especially if the ring or gold jewelry is not sanitized. So be careful not to cause more of a problem then just having to deal with a sty.

Most styes go away on their own in 5-7 days.

Apply warm compresses 4-6 times a day for about 15 minutes at a time to help the drainage. Keep your eyes closed.

Gently scrub the eyelid with tap water or with a mild, nonirritating soap or shampoo (such as baby shampoo). This may help with drainage. Close your eyes as you scrub so you do not injure your eyes.

Do not squeeze or puncture the sty. A more serious infection may occur as a result.

Discontinue the use of eye makeup as well as eye lotions and creams because they may be infected.

Discontinue wearing your contact lenses because the sty may cause an infection to spread to your cornea with the continued use of your contact lenses.

Okay this is going to sound completely crazy but if you know anyone who has a cat, take the cats tail and rub it across your eye with the sti. I get them all the time and I also have cats and trust me it really does work, it will take about a day or two for you to notice the difference but it will just go away!

You should really go see a doctor.
I once had one of them and it got a bit bigger and the doctor said it had turned into a syst [or however you spell it].
The doctor might give you this cream which you put on the inside of your eyelid.
And if it gets worse, you might have to have an operation [like me]. But luckily my mum cancelled the operation for me.
In the mean time, I suggest you get an ear bud and rub it on the sty to try and push it out.
Fortunately, my syst hasn't returned.
:]

it is all a be counted of decision. the guy who commented on the 1911 element supplies great suggestion. A Glock 26 is a great gun, expensive for some and then "its plastic" human beings chime in. Kel-Tec makes 2 great compact 9mm that are wallet friendly. Springfield XD makes a 3in compact 9mm that holds 13 rounds. Its a be counted of decision, Kimber's extremely compact 3inch 1911 .40 5 ACP is great. examine into Para-Ordance as they make a 1911 type gun chambered in 9mm.

Take a regular tea bag and make it moist and apply it to
the sty once or twice a day for approx. 10 to 15 min.,
it supposed to make it go away. It,s an old fashioned
remedy but it is supposed to work.

If it is definitely a sty.....this may sound strange, but get a piece of 14K gold jewelry, like a ring and rub the ring on it.
