Depends which " god" you talking about. The Hindu's have about 3 million Primary " gods". You can take a shot there, then perhaps work your way through the Ancient Roman & Greek gods. Wow, you do have your work cut out for you.

Come up with an idea for a better god. Look what happened to the Greek, Norse, Egyptian, etc. pantheon. Those all went down the tubes when a New and Improved god came on the scene. Not much else changed, just the number of gods to remember.

You can't. By asking this question though, I'm sure you made God laugh.
1 Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
4 HE WHO SITS IN THE HEAVENS SHALL LAUGH;
The Lord shall hold them in derision. Psalm 2:1-4
