Not all guys depend on looks, but most guys need some sort of attraction to the girl to get the incentive to know her more and to befriend her. It's true many guys go for looks first because they attract them and after getting to know their personality, I guess they decide for themselves if they're worth chasing for. Don't be mistaken though, looks aren't everything but they do contribute to the attraction between partners.
Pluck up your courage and befriend a guy. He probably would not consider you as a potential girlfriend first if you're not that attractive (I'm not saying you're not, but just in case if you feel that way) but if he gets to know how nice, caring you are, he'll feel differently and then looks won't be much of a big deal anymore. Looks are normally start-off points of a potential chemistry between two people.

I dont care how you look jessica, you dont need guys who look for your looks, in the long run they dont last and they dont deserve your respect,, you are a women, just be glad that your are born as one, u dont have to be pretty for someone, you have to feel beautifull, and for me you are beautifull ok, dont even give a s*it about what other guy thinks about u

That's why they're guys. Right now, guys are fascinating by women. It's a guy thing. Once they are older and more mature, they'll change.
