It very well could be possible. I'm 20 and my man just turned 31, although there is somewhat of a difference between a 17yr old and 20 yr old. It really depends on her mindset. She could be in love, then again she could be in love with the things he does for her. Only time can really reveal. Wait it out and see. Besides, you might want to wait until she's 18 before announcing this relationship (for legal reasons).
Hope I helped!

Sure she may be in love, but she's got alot of growing to do and the guy should have the good sense to back off. She's just a kid and doesn't know what she wants yet.
Now if a girl's 28 and the guys 42, that's different now she's grown up and got her head on straight.
It's not the number of years, it's the ages of the people involved. She's just not ready for the same type of relationship that a 30+ man is.

no, because the 31 yr old guy just wants you in the sack and the 17 year old is still naive enough to think hes really in love.
After he's had you a few times he'll break it off and tell you that hes marries or getting back together with an ex so steer clear of him now so you don't get your feelings hurt in a month.

Ask your self why is a 31 year old man interested in a 17 year old girl. He is in a far different place in his life than you. He is only interested in you for his ego. He must have some serious issues if he has to string along a young girl like you. Be afraid be very afraid. All he wants is to satisfy his sexual urges with you because a woman his own age would see right through his shallow little mind. Be afraid be very afraid. Deep down you must be trying to satisfy a need to be close to a father image.

Do I think that she could be in love with a thirty one year old man? I doubt it. There are a few factors why I don't think it would work out for the best:
1.)the age difference matters because she's still a minor.
2.)What would a seventeen year old have that a thirty one year old man would want?
3.) Mentality range--She might not even be able to catch up to him, since she's what? Probably a Junior/Senior in highschool.
For these reasons, I'd advise the guy to not even touch her and move on to someone close to his age or someone that isn't a minor.

I don't think a 17 yr old could know what love is. I also don't think a 31 yr old whos dating a 17 yr old knows what love is. I think you like him and he might tell you the things you want to hear, but you have so much to learn in life and so much to learn about relationships and love when you're 17.

I dont think that a 17 years old girl knows about love, she might feel flattered that a man 31 tries to take her attention. Maybe she admires him, but thats far away from real love.

Nope, at 17, you don't know what you want in life. You make think you have it all figured out, but that changes. A 17 year old is basically tricked into thinking they are in love because they want someone more mature than a highschool boy.

That is quite an age gap, but I guess it could be possible. Think long and hard about the situation. You are young and have so many things that you have not experienced in life. You may not have as much in common with him as you think. Maybe it's a case of lust not love?
