professional camera or not

well the camera looks fine for social events or casual shoots but most professional camera is a DSLR camera like the Canon Digital Rebel XTi/D400 or Nikon D40x and there's even the bigger medium formats such as the Hasselblad.

They offer larger sensor, better metering capability, interchangeable lenses and more flexible options to suit your need.

It's definitely not a professional camera. It's a simple point and shoot camera, and the megapixels don't mean much. Here's an example of a good entry level professional camera.

If you just want an advance point and shoot camera, go for something like the canon S5 IS here:

And the problem with Casio cameras is that they tend to be a bit fragile so if you don't want them to break, take good care of them. Here's a review for it:

You can't get a pro camera in an ultracompact size. If you don't want a big camera, but still want good features (like shutter priority, aperture priority), try something like the canon A640/A630 or the A710 IS/A720 IS.

Edit: I've looked at my past comments and it seems as though somebody is going through all my answers and giving me thumbs down for no reason. So annoying.

The Sept. 2007 issue of Shutterbug magazine has a review of five 10 mega pixel digicams - the Casio you named is one of them. You can access it at shutterbug.com and read.
