I don't believe that there are any points for not having your license, as it is not considered a moving violations, but you should call the court system (number should be on ticket) to check.

If you just left it at home, no. If you don't have a license, you not only get points but jail time here in Maryland. Better get a lawyer!

If you do not have a license at all, they cannot put points on it. It will, however, go on your record. Depending on your age, you may be prohibited from obtaining a license until age 18 or 21.
