Do you agree? Has anyone read the book? I started reading it.. And I find it so true and helpful and realistic.. Sure, it doesn't solve all your problems, everyone is different.. but it helps a lot, it helps you in your relationship with the other sex and with yourself too, cause if you are confused, you feel more relaxed. It worked with me.. We just need to understand each other, and one of the two has to take the first step.. As in all kind of differences there can be in relationships between people..
Well, men and women, what most annoys you in the opposite sex? or you don't understand..

Here's my take on the whole issue!

The differences between men and women has always sparked my curiosity. Not only the obvious physical differences but the emotional as well. The more life I live the more I learn about the opposite sex and how they truly are unique creatures. The more I spend time with different people the more I realize that each has their own ideas and views on how life should be. Let's start with the obvious..... some men are completely sexually driven....... some are emotionally driven...... others, well who knows what drives them.....they just float! Women are the same way we just aren't so obvious about our desires and dreams. Seems we all are just hoping to find that certain someone who can fulfill what fuels us. Kind of funny if you ask me! Sort of like God's cruel joke...... let's just stick all these people on the planet and let them wander around and hope they one day can find the thing or person that fulfills their souls. Ha! What a funny picture that is if you really step back and take a look. Thank goodness there seems to be quite a bit that Can appease me. Otherwise I think I might just be wandering aimlessly forever! Variety is the spice of life! lol

I understand the opposite sex, it's women I don't get. I don't get the superficial stuff, the hours spent at the mall, the shopping trips for copies of things already hanging in closets, the buying $300 outfits and perpetuating the false impression that the media gives about women.

Just in case you missed the opposite sex part at the top, I am a woman, just not it seems a girly girl and I don't get the whole "princess" attitude.

During the 1970s, the women liberation movement was very strong, and one of their main tenets was that men and women are exactly alike. Hence, if they are exactly alike then women should be paid like men and should be treated like men by the gov't. However, this created lots of confusion in our society and I believe forced men and women to think of themselves in un-healthy ways. Their have been lots of great things accomplished by the movement; however, I think also been destructive to women and families as well. Then a book comes along (Men are from Mars...) that states the obvious, but because it goes against the norms of our society it shocks many people who read it.

I travel a lot and have noticed that women in other countries have never been pressured by their society to behave like men, and are very free to be quite feminine. The same is true for men, especially in Latin America where machismo is still cool. They appreciate the benefits (financial and otherwise) of a liberated society; however, they're not pressured to down-play their feminine and masculine traits. I believe that US culture still puts this pressure on people, but slowly we are coming to our senses. Hope this doesn't sound sexist, because I'm definitely not.

I dislike any kind of relationship advice book, because everyone has their own ways. While men and women do IN GENERAL think and behave differently from one another, not all men think alike. The only way to make a relationship work is to have good communication with your loved one.

"what most annoys you in the opposite sex" ?

women dont give sex as easily as men do.

if women were like men, two dogs in the street, we wouldnt have any problems in the world. there would be no wars, we would be too busy having sex, and what would there be to fight about anyway ? they want your land? you have sex withtheir women, they take your land, and who cares?

no children would starve. mom has sex with the farmer, she gets food.

we would still have global warming, but we wouldnt care.

women! they have to know the guy, like him and be attracted to him. they even want to know his name first!

why cant they just be like men?

and ,men and women are different because of ying and yang, god and the devil, good vs evil, love and hate.
you cant have one with out the other .

how would you know you had a great guy if one didnt hurt you first ?

a child doesnt understand the stove is hot, until he gets burned.

every rose has its thorns.
