My younger brother and I fight constantly & I usually start it. We mostly fight cause he gets mad that I lie.?

We fight alot. And, its because I lie. I dont know why I like but, its fun...im such a bad sister. My brother knows I'm lying so why does he have to make such a big point about it? When we fight, my brother gets REALLY mad and "pissed"(thats what hes says) and he hurts me physically and curses/swears at me. My brother is a good boy with a nice heart its just that I get him really mad and annoyed. I really do love him. I dont know why i lie to him but the lie is really obvious so its not really a big deal?? I dont know but I really, really, really, do LOVE him!!! Please help!! Im sorry for writing soo much. Thanks everybody!! ♡

each time you lie to him, it's like a slap in the face. maybe he doesn't understand sarcasm at this point, and this may be what you are trying to portray, and not the lie. but try to be honest with him. it will get to a point where he doesn't know what is a lie and what is the truth. if he really is a good boy with a nice heart, then when you quit lying to him, you will probably quit fighting.

also, you need to get to the bottom of why you lie, and quit the cycle. sometimes, when we lie, the lie keeps getting bigger and bigger, until we don't even know why we lied in the first place. and there are some people who cannot carry on a conversation without lying. there is seriously one woman I know about, where you never know if it's a lie or the truth. she will not hesitate to look someone in the face and tell a lie. now, would you like for your brother to start feeling this way about you? no, because it will only cause more problems between you later in life. hoping you make the right choice. good luck!

a lie is a lie, little or small. they are all the same. he does, not what you to grow up being a layer. you may not know this, but lying can be habit forming. there are some people that lie all the time, but do not notice it. for they have done it so much it comes natural. some will even tell you, they lie before they realize it. your brother, just does not want you to become this way.

Every lie is a big deal. He's mad because you are his sister, he's supposed to be able to believe you, have faith and trust in you, and talk with you. If you are going to lie to him, then none of that can exist and you then are some distant stranger not a real sister.

Stop lying. Or are you lying saying you love your brother?
Your lies will get the best of you. Problem is it might hurt someone you love before it really gets to you.

It sounds to me that you are starting to realize that what you are doing is wrong, but you don't know how to stop. Why do you want your brother to be angry at you? Does he ignore you otherwise? Are you angry at him and want revenge? Or is it just a childish joke that you are starting to realize is actually hurtful and mean?

Whatever it is, lying doesn't seem to be fun for you anymore and that may make it easier to stop.

maybe you could try to talk to him and apologise for wad u said or did... but u could try to make him stop hurting and swearing at you as a sibling relationship shouldn't be like that... this might not be much of a help but... just try not to lie to your brother as it seems that he doesnt like it, and be honest with each other :))

How about showing him what you just wrote, I think its the best start, he probably doesnt know how much you care about him, and from his point of view he probably feels like you dont care.

I honestly think that you need psychological help. Anyone who constantly lies, has a serious problem.
