I don't know about any of them in here... but I know a few that can do that with no problem. But then again, they don't like being placed in the "Christian" category because of the many extremists that are ruining what they perceive the religion to be.

Sure, I do it all the time. But, if he cares about that person at all, eventually he will attempt to show them the truth that will save their life. Only a very cold-hearted Christian can sit by and do nothing as a friend is doomed, when they have the answer and can easily give it to them.
Do you think we enjoy being ridiculed by non-believers?
Sharing the faith is hard work, and very humiliating many times. But that is how much we care, and how important it is to us. Is there anything in your life you are passionate enough about, that you would stand firm in the face of ridicule?

I agree with you. If you need to talk I am here, by email. Sorry if you have had a bad experience with Christians. That is not what is intended, most of the time
ok, I see what you mean in Sisterzeal Arise- Yes, Jesus is Lord, but Jesus had compassion on the lost, or don't you remember that!!

It took my brother a few years after being *reborn* to stop proselytizing to us (his family) and realize that family visits were much better with out all the tension his proselytizing caused.

Not all... but yes, it's possible. Many of my Christian friends here try. And even when they say they will pray, I understand that they are not trying to convert me, they are simply saying that I am in their thoughts, and I would never complain about a friend keeping me there.

I can.
And if I have a friend who feels the way you describe, I pray for them on my own time, without their knowledge. They don't have to know about it, if they don't appreciate it. And whether or not they know about it doesn't change how God answers prayer.

of course. that is what most people do. St Francis sent early Franciscans out to 'preach the Gospel, and only use words when necessary'

Every aspect of our lives are to show Gods' love for them, and that does mean we have to always be praying out loud to/for them.
But we need to be ready to praise God when they ask us of the reason for our hope.
