I don't hate monkeys, I think they are cute (some so ugly, that they are cute) but still cute... I just know I'm not, and never was one, and don't believe to be related to them... Thats all... :-) Thanks for the pre-concieved judgment though. Appreciate it....

Christians don't hate monkeys. Some people who claim to be Christians might hate monkeys. I am a Christian and I love monkeys. When I get to go to the Zoo, the monkey section is where I spend most of my time. The Bible says that man has dominion over the birds of the air and the beasts of the field, so yes, I guess I find myself superior to them. I don't think that man descended from them, but that's not really a big deal to me.

The word "HATE" should never be in a Christan's vocabulary. They just believe that God created man, and that man did not come from monkeys. I'm wondering if Jesus had a monkey? You know, like Tarzan... He didn't have a dog and dog mans best friend. Did he have a monkey?

I have no problem. We both have the same creator, but I did not come from a monkey. All Chevy's were made by the same manufacturer. They have some interchangeable parts and lots that are similar but a Corsica is nothing like a Corvette Darwin's Theory after all these years has always remained that, a Theory...it was never proven. Scientists today do not subscribe to that theory and in fact are proving that and admitting more and more that there was intelligent design , in other words God.

I'm a Christian, and I don't hate monkeys. In fact, I find them pretty adorable.

Please don't make generalizations about an entire group of people. Just because some behave in a certain way, doesn't mean the whole bunch does.

LOLOL I absolutely do NOT hate monkeys! But I can recognize that while they have allot of our traits, they aren't HUMAN. They are animals, and a whole different species than us. Like all the other primates they share an uncanny similarity. They are adorable and amazing.
Is it so hard to believe that a Creator, made primates so much like humans? They haven't found the direct link as of yet, and I don't think they will.
I also believe that the prehistoric "humans" were merely primates, similar to the ones we have today, even smarter thought, that went extinct. Based on the evidence available, this is what makes sense to me.
Have a great weekend! =)

I don't hate monkeys because I'm a Christian, I dislike them because they tend to throw their poop at me. I don't share with them, and rest comfortably at night knowing they don't share with me either (I mean, really, would you WANT to share a banana with a monkey? I think not, he's welcome to it if he gets it first). And, if you're going to put evolution back out there because of the physical and genetic similarities between the 2 species, you might as well include frogs, some rocks, and trees, because we're only 2% removed, genetically, from them as well, so are we evolved from all those things? Puh-leeze!

Well, being an atheist, monkeys are awseome! =D Yes, we deffinately evolved from them, just look at everything else evolution has to offer - T-Rexs are now part of the KFC lineup, monkeys now wear business suits and work everyday... The list goes on. So of course we evolved from monkeys! And I mean, all the Christians who only believe in the Creationism Theory... Well they just need to get their heads out of the clouds. All scientific evidence is right there!

I don't hate monkeys! I like to believe both sides of the coin though too. That we were created by God but over time we have also evolved in to the humans we are today.

For Christians who whether they like it or not are all a species of great ape, evolved from fish and closely related to monkeys, it is a bit nasty to dislike ones relatives to such a degree.
