Observe the wonders as they occur around you. Don't claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent.

Observation is good. Understanding is better. Testing your Understanding is even better.

Im pretty much like JJ. I live alone & spend most of my time in silence. I love to open the windows so I can hear the birds sing & the wind blow through the trees. I play music sometimes, or have friends & family to visit, but the majority of my time is in silence. Im finding I need more silence & more time alone as the years go by.

Peace.

I live alone and so am silent all the time save when I'm speaking to my God and my dog... the former is in musings... the latter is in chat... I drive and walk alone (with the dog and God) and the same applies... so sharing how I feel about the world when someone smiles and passes by... is greeeat... I HAVE to say... isn't it a lovely day... come rain... come wind... come shine... 'cos some of us have always known life and this world are gifts beyond compare;-)

Not here. No matter what the Greeks said, Rumi is the real god of poetry.

Be empty of worrying.
Think of who created thought!

Why do you stay in prison
when the door is so wide open?

Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking.
Live in silence

Flow down and down always
widening rings of being.

I would like to do that when the time is right and wonders surround me. I guess it doesn't work wekk for telephone calls and such. Love Rumi!

We have emerged from silence and, in actuality, are made of silence. It just 'appears' otherwise. The artistry is us! ;)

I both can and cannot be silent. Silence reveals the presence of God, but that same presence often requires one to break their silence.
