Yep, its fine for them, won't hurt them in the least. You can even use just a dab of vaseline and that works great also.

It's better to use the simple white petroleum in Vaseline. Chapstick is mostly white petroleum but has other ingredients that may not be infant safe. But use whatever you do sparingly, because the more they accidentally lick or eat can cause them an upset stomach. Why does your 9 month old need Chapstick?

Yes, chapstick is OK, or Vaseline (just a tiny dab) is OK. Lotions, mild (baby) shampoo, mild soaps...their skin is so tender! Any medicine, get a doctors approval first.

Use Vaseline or "Bag Balm". Bag balm was given to me from a doctor . .its in a green tin. . you can find it at some drug stores. . ITS AWESOME. it cures any kinda of skin irritation . . great for Diaper rash too. Its petroleum based but works a lot better and safe for babies.

( and safe if a little gets in the infants mouth)

Vaseline works great. If you use chapstick don't try carmex or anything strong, it might burn their lips.
