am planning to have a complete sexual intercourse with my bf for the first time in my life, but i heard it will be painful and that i will not be able to have sex for a whole week after the first time?
is that true or it just depends?

It just depends. It didn't hurt at all for me. But it wasn't exactly fireworks, either.

It just depends. You might be able to do it again a few hours afterward. Or you might have to wait for awhile because you are sore. Be careful whenever you are doing t. Use a condom. Make sure he/she is the right one for you and try not to make a mistake by "messing around". You might regret your decision later. Think about it before you do it. Good luck.

Yes it could hurt the first time, depending on various things but if your partner is considerate and gentle, it shouldn't be too bad.
As to not having sex for a week? only if he does serious damage.
As to pill or condom your choice, but a lubricated condom might help the first time he enters you.

It depends, but that's how it was for me.
Make sure you're totally sure you want to do it, don't just let him talk you into it..
And if you're young, wait a while.
I was 16 and I think I was too young. We broke up 6 months after we had sex for the first time.
I was devastated.

Sex is overrated, believe when i say this it is. The only hanky-panky you should be having is with someone you are IN love with and he is IN love with you. Basically someone that will never hurt you or do anything to hurt you. Your virginity is something precious though this sounds corny its true. In life you should always be very picky on who you involve yourself with especially if its a love interest. Are you sure you are ready? Are you old enough? Is he truly the right guy? You have to think about this cause once you lose it you lost it forever. So stop yourself even if you have the smallest doubt. And if me saying that "it hurts so much you won't be able to walk/sit for months" will stop you form having sex then that statement is true. But seriously be careful and be sure who you let in your heart it hurts a lot more then 1st sex to love or give something special to the wrong guy. Im sure you heard this before but honey its so TRUE....so true...it hurts...

It can hurt but it's different for everyone. But make sure YOU are ready, don't feel pressured into anything.

EVERYONE is different. Expect nothing. My 1st time wasn't messy or painful but I know your going to hear some horror stories from others. You wont know what its going to be like...UNTIL it happens.
