No. I am biracial. 1/2 Black and 1/2 white and dating a white man. My mother was a black woman dating a white man. (And was treated badly for it)

And actually Fisherman, most Black men aren't "insecure about their race" or any other such nonsense. In fact, MEN of any color aren't, whether they're Asian, White, Black or Latino! Perhaps you're projecting your own insecuritites onto other people?
When I'm with a woman, it's because of how I feel about her- not the initial reaction of people who know nothing about us- so skin color isn't a factor at all.
