if you name your children either Cain or Lillith, they're cursed and will die. Apparently it's a Jewish superstition, but I can't find any source of it anywhere. Can anybody help me out?

Cain refers to the first son of Adam, who was murdered by his brother Abel. The first recorded murder in the Bible.

Lilith refers to a Jewish "folklore" (not actually believed by the Jews) that Adam had a wife before Eve who became the first vampire. This is found in some novels that appeared around 400 BC amoung the Jews.

So both names have come to be considered "unlucky" names, and are avoided by the Jews.

Apparently Lillith was Adams first wife, before she wised up, and was cursed by an Angel because she wouldn't return. She became the first vampire and child snatcher/killer. Cain was the one who murdered his brother.
