Tobay beach is in the Town of Oyster Bay. During the beach season you need a town of Oyster Bay parking sticker on your car to get in. The only way to get the sticker is to live in the town. That said, it's the beach just east of Jones Beach Field 6. Tobay is nice, quiet, and scenic. Also the 50s actress Marilyn Monroe posed for photographs at Tobay while she was married to famous playwright Arthur Miller

Been there. Yes, it's part of a great stretch of beaches that starts from Riis Park for 100 miles (just about) to eastern tip of Long Island. The southshore is incredible, and you can't go wrong. But, you're asking about one small stretch in particular... next to Geilgo beach.

Tobay is less populated, and I believe you need a resident parking pass... from certain townships from Westbury on south (in fact, my buddy was from Westbury -- and it was his sticker/pass that got us in), but the parling lot is large.

Note: I see the person below me simpy cut/pasted from the 'net. Top Contributor? what's that mean, people that use Yahoo to cut/paste and stay on this website all day? (nonsense) I'd rather talk with someone with REAL experience.
