a couple who realizes they are 2 different people trying to live as one and that they will at time disagree and communication and compromise the is best way to overcome these disagreements. if people realize that then the better off they are and the more likely they are to succeed in marriage. it is also important to give each other space. he does what he wants once in awhile and she does what she wants. the couples I know with the biggest problems are the ones who think they need to be together every second they arent at work and all they end up doing is fighting. my husband has no problems with my going out with friends or eve njust doing my own thing around the house. then we have a date night every once in awhile where we do dinner or a movie or both. its little things like that. they seem so simple but people forget them all the time.

Relationships are similar to a job in some ways and many companies now have policies stating family first. People need to remember that and just like work is prioritized, relationships should be to. I do not mean that relationships need to be rigid and scheduled, I actually mean the exact opposite. Relationships need to be cherished and the people in relationships need to live and share life together. The number one priority in a relationship is to LIVE IT TOGETHER. By living it together, both partners should share in each other's joys, pains, tears, laughter, sadness, happiness, failures, and successes. By sharing your life and your feelings and all of your thoughts and emotions, your partner can share those with you by sympathizing, empathizing, laughing, and generally sharing in those feelings. If you are stressed and running makes you feel at peace, have your partner run with you.
