Do Christians who teach their kids the Big Book of Faerie Tales and Lies actually know it's full of sins ?

Murder, rape, adultery... you name it. Now these are great values to teach your children.

They don't care, they force these children to go to service each week since they're little so it basically becomes a simple form of brainwashing. They are raised to think what the church tells them to think and when someone who has a brain in their head says something they get all pissed off and try to explain how god is real and how homosexuals are satans doings or some crap. They're what's been wrong with this planet for thousands of years. Still to this day people are murdered because the do not believe a certain way or pray to a certain god. This has to end.

If it wasn't full of those things then maybe I would consider it a fairy (faerie?) tale. The real world proves to me that this is how we live and we always have because it is human nature to be sinful. Either they'll read it in the bible and get some morals with the truth which is that we ALL sin... or children can see it and hear it in the real world without the morals.

You are not getting it are you? The Bible does have sins in it, because the Bible's main themes are that men and women are sinners, and that God is God, and there has to be payment of sin, and Jesus came to earth to pay the price that we could never pay, so that we could be forgiven. The Bible would have been a book of lies and fairy tales, if the whole truth was not written there. Truth is hard sometimes, and we cannot hide our children from the truth. We are not teaching our children, to murder, to rape or commit adultery, etc- we are teaching our children the truth that we are sinners in need of a Savior- just like all those people in the bible.

Typically the children don't get taught those truths until they're able to handle it. Just as they must learn some harsh realities when they are a certain age..... there is evil in this world and evil people that the children need to be aware of and if you fluff up certain things, they'll trust anyone.

See... you have to actually READ the bible to learn about those things. Churches don't actually preach about those ideas from the bible, (with the exception of murder, of course). Although, it would be hillarious if they did.

They only teach the wonderful, beautiful things to the kids (that's how they hook them).

I know tons and tons of Christians, but very few have actually read the bible from front to back (most people can't understand the more complex vocabulary anyhow).

The Bible teaches us how not to do these bad things. Yes, children should learn the Bible so they can deal with this vulgar world when they are confronted.
