Oats as in oatmeal, cold cereal made out of oats, what? Non-instant oatmeal is good, especially with some fruit and real maple syrup. Instant oatmeal has too much sugar and other stuff in it, that, in my opinion, lessens the health quality. Some cereals that are made out of oats have added stuff in it like sugar, artificial colors and/or flavors, etc. I neither buy nor eat the instant oatmeal or the cereals with the extra stuff in it.

No oat is very good for you. Anyways, nothing will make you fat if you control your portions.

Nah, its all in how much you eat of it! Oats are good for you, but if they are high in calories and fat, then I would limit how much you have per day!

no, oats do not make you fat. Its all the sugar you put on it that loads on the pounds. I put sugar on mine I don't know what you put on yours. But if you like sugar, try sweet and low.

i thought that it was healthy too.. untill my mom told me that the oats stick to your ribs, not very healthy for you.. lol.
