Are you sure its an ammonia smell? If you are diabetic and exercise drops your blood sugar levels it could be a smell that resembles acetone (nail polish remover). If that's the case you will need to see a doctor. But if that's the case there should be other symptoms too - do you feel dizzy, nauseous, faint?
If you are dehydrated, then there can be an odor on your breath from that.
If not, then it would be something else.

your liver produces or breaks down by products that have ammonia in them.. perhaps when you sweat it is coming from your liver+ you void out ammonia in your urine......

read up on uric acid in the body. there are herbs to level it out
