Its easy for the armchair warriors sitting thousands of kms away from the combat to be critical, they have never been there, and the majority are too chicken to serve, so they sit back and criticise those who volunteer and make the supreme sacrifice.

The reason why every friendly-fire incidents in the past were thoroughly investigated is so that they would never happen again. But if they continue to happen, then definitely something is going wrong. Regardless of the chaotic conditions of war, these should not simply be tolerated nor forgotten. This is the reason why soldiers are trained during boot camps, to avoid panic under the crackle of gunfire or artillery shell explosions. So friendly-fire incidents cannot be excused to be due to confusion during battle.

At least it has other face, now you people are in a better position to understand the pain as your men died under so-called friendly fire.

I am sure none of them have even served let alone been in close combat it is one of those situations where if you dont fire you may be dead. Regrettably these things happen

They are British. Of course everything is going to be somebody else's fault.

I am willing to bet money that the British unit misreported its position - again. This seems to be the cause every time a British unit is attacked by US aircraft.
