I suppose if you were born into a wealthy Christian home, and never needed an education to provide for your family, it would appear that sacrifices were not necessary. But somewhere down the line in life, unless you have some sort of challange that required a sacrifice, you will not have experienced real success. I am assuming that the individual mentoned above became a Christian somewhere in his or her life.

I cannot imagine a married person not having to make a sacrifice of some sort during a happy marriage.

I cannot imagine a born again Christian, not having to make some sort of sacrifice of time, money, or compassion for the lost.

True success, to me, is not having all the money and things you need. True success to me, is having a day to day walk with The Lord Jesus Christ, and being the best person you can be. I will sacrifice it all to enjoy that life.

To an extent. God wants you to be happy and wants you to succeed, he just doesn't want you hurting others in anyway in order to get what you desire. You don't necessarily have to sacrifice your well being, material items, or money. Just be a good person.

Did u really need to ask the same question twice?

Sacrifices were the way of life in the days of the bible.

Sounds morbid, but that was their lifestyle.. Who are we to condemn them?

Modern 21st century humans makes the bible days seem like a walk in the park.
