I'm joining as a CTN, and heard somewhere that with the ATF contract (which tacks on an extra two years) I come out of school as an E-4.
Haven't been able to find this information elsewhere, so if anyone could clarify that'd be great.

CTN just recently opened up to new accessions, before that you could only cross rate into it. not sure how long CTN A school is, but it is conceivable that you could make E4 just by virtue of TIR/TIS, as they are fairly small for the first few paygrades.. anywhere from 6-9 months at E1 and E2 before making the jump.

the only program that I know of for sure is NUKE, but the training pipleine for that has a washout rate that rivals that of BUD/s.
