I have always been to the Catholic mass and just don't go. I can't find it in me to go... I was raised in a Catholic school and my father I think believes in God- ANIYWAY what I'm asking is, when I was a teenager I was dating this guy who brought me to church with his family and dear Lord it was so enlightening. Instead of a priest, it was just a regular guy standing up there, talking about, of all things, celebrating WOMEN and then he moved on and the rest of his sermon was very positive, none of this doom and gloom that I was used to. Everyone had a little paper they were filling out that coincided with sermon... I know for a fact it was Christian, I think it may have been Baptist? Any ideas what kind of church it was?

Maybe it was a non-denominational church like the one I attend. http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/Enduring_Truth/archives.asp

I don't have a clue what Church service you attended, but I know of several that sound similar.
