I for one do not fall for Bush's opinions. I have no faith in Bush what so ever. I also believe that the terrorists are already here in America living among us. I do agree with you that Iraq should not have happened. My belief is that Bush due to his ties with the Bin Laden family basically started this war in Iraq to deflect what occurred on 9-11. One has nothing to do with the other. Osama Bin Laden was responsible for the 9-11 attacks not Saddam Husein. Osama Bin Laden is in Afghanistan not Iraq. I am in no way saying that Saddam was not a cruel ruler of his country that is a given. However his cruelty did not effect the American People, When 9-11 occurred the American People cried out for justice for their fellow Americans. Because Bush was unwilling or unable to provide the justice that America wanted he created this diversion in Iraq. So in closing. Yes we have liberated Iraq from a cruel ruler and in doing this one task we have devastated their country beyond belief. We have lost close to 4000 more American soldiers and we have not solved the initial problem of terrorists

No offense meant, but it was your father's generation that made America what it is today. After WWII, politicians used the unwavering loyalty of good Americans to manipulate the system. We started to believe whatever the press told us. McCarthyism and the Red Scare taught the government a very important lesson: It's easier to rule with fear and hate than with compassion and brilliance.
Your father was raised in an age that patriotism meant that you didn't question your government. Now, it may be too late. The government has grown so bloated that we may be stuck with a monstronsity that we can never fix.

The terrorists that flew the planes on 911 were Saudis, as is bin Laden. Not Iraqi, Not Irani, Saudi. But guess what, the Saudis are partnered with the Bush and Cheyney families in their oil businesses and have endowed certain Republican think tanks, etc. so we couldn't point the finger at them, could we? The terrorists are already in the US, at the invitation of the sitting administration who is fingering the Saudi money as we are here.

Oh, you don't think Saddam Huessin and his regime were terrorists? He terrorized his own people for many, many years. Your father who fought in WWII asks "What has happened to American?" Well isn't he getting free medical care through medicare? Not to mention a check every month from Social Security? Why is he not happy? If he voted for a Dem in the last election, maybe he should ask himself that same question.

If we can get a lot of them into one area, ie. Iraq, then we can take them out, and keep taking them out.
Now you're question contains the word "fall" in the first sentence so you already know what kind of answer you want.
Why didn't you just ask the question, "Do you still beat your wife?"
It's right along the lines of this horrible set-up of a question you asked.

You misspelled "ridiculous." You asked three questions. That's cheating. You are supposed to ask one and get charged five points for the privilege.
Your first statement is not a question. Wrong punctuation. Your first question is a leading question. It assumes facts not in evidence. The second part of your question is totally wrong. Remember Saddam Hussein, his two sons, and the entire Baath ruling party. Terrorists one and all.
Your father should open an account and ask his own question. The US is way better off than it was after WWII. We have progressed.

spoken like a true bleeding heart liberal.......I bet you belong to the ACLU too don't you? i suppose you'd rather see them setting off roadside bombs in downtown Dallas or bringing a truck bomb into the Daytona 500 wouldn't you? would that make you feel better? if we weren't keeping them busy over there they'd be wreaking havoc over here every few years......there hasn't been another large scale attack like 9/11 in the last 6 years for a REASON..... .......better they're over there keeping themselves occupied than over here killing my family.
