why is when someone questions the Christan's they either tell you that you don't understand or that you are jealous???

I attended a church service with a friend a long time ago... and in their Sunday School class... that was actually an assignment... to memorize certain parts of the Bible. Not all of it, but just those parts that they could use on other people to get them to see the "Light".
