If the whole idea was to create and be with sinless beings, why would he give the opportunity to Adam & Eve to be tempted. They had absolutely no knowledge of sin, temptation, deceit, pain, etc. They were basically newborns -- just as adults. Fresh from the ground.
The typical Christian response is: Well God wanted to give man the choice to choose to follow Him or Satan and like any good parent -- let them feel the consequences of disobedience.
FINE, but that doesn't justify giving them a fair chance to make a fully educated decision (as we do now) nor does it make sense for people that are now 0.0000[insert many zeros here]000001 percent related to them to be paying for Adam & Eve's sin infintely worse than their initial banishment.
I'll leave it at that for now.
Have fun!

Some of your answers add some additional thoughts:
- If god knew all of this was going to happen... why didn't he rid the issue at the root from the beginning. Why create beings that you know wont willingly follow you....eh? Create 2000+ years of unnecessary drama, pain and suffering... All to prove that he is all knowing, all loving, merciful and just?

The garden of Eden story from the bible, exists in many versions across the different faiths or sects of faiths,
The stories are all basically the same. A lot of symbolism that is interpreted in different ways.
The tale has been rewritten a few time. modernising it for the generation of the time. as language chances the meaning of a phrase, can be lost, as its meaning changes too.
As we read a phrase with our modern minds and education, the same phrase could have had a totally different meaning a thousand years ago.
One bad translation can totally alter the meaning of a story, especially if further translations are done from the bad one.
a modern example - instructions that come with electronic equipment or flat pack furniture. Some have been translated from one language to another by someone who does not speak at least one of the languages..
So someone translating say Sanskrit into Latin, then from Latin to old German or old English, then modern English.
There is a lot or room for error. Not to mention Kings, Popes and other rulers that altered holy books because it didn't agree with the Politics of their of the time.
So the original meaning or words for "without sin" could have been something else entirely.

The whole point of the creation of humanity was whatever God intended ... and not necessarily what you or I might surmise.
The fact that Adam and Eve were created without sin was just natural for a God who by nature, cannot sin.
Satan and the fallen angels were already a fact of life at that point in time, and Satan also had a right to dwell on the earth ... at least for a while ... so a confrontation was inevitable.
It's also very likely that there were many more temptation incidents than the successful one we read about in Genesis.
And as far as education goes ... Adam and Eve certainly and completely understood the precise nature of their sin, beyond any doubt, as God does not hold the truly ignorant or the insane responsible for such things.
Their sin was really one of treason against God, motivated by pride ... and their real failing came in choosing to believe Satan's lies, instead of God's absolute truth.
Some things never seem to change ... and understanding that ... may be the whole point of the exercise.

The Qur'an tells us that our life on earth is a time of tests. The Creator created everyone and everything...including Satan. Yes, Adam and "Eve" did sin but then they were forgiven. Adam was sent to earth as the first Prophet of The Creator and as the father of ALL humanity.
After we die we will be in our graves. On The Day of Judgment we will be resurrected and judged.
The Creator is not our parent...The Creator is our maker... The Maker of everyone and everything... like a carpenter is a maker of a chair.

People have been wrestling with this for centuries. The thing that I believe to be true is that when the Bible was written, there had to be some explanation for the beginning, but I don't think it was ever meant originally to be taken as true. It is a story, just as Native American myths are passed down through the generations or Japanese stories or any nationalities story's. Enjoy them but take them with a grain of salt

God only created the entire universe to prove a point to Satan that if he created humans and left them to their own source they would believe and follow him. In some ways Satan cheated in this game and formed into the snake which tempted Adam and Eve and throughout today he still tempts us.

From what I understand, they did sin by taking and biting the apple, therefore God sent them to earth to endure the suffers of their choices.
A big hu-ha to me!
It's the same as putting a bunch of crack in front of a crack head and hoping that he won't take it. Why would you do that?

You will not get the answer unless God is on Y/A. It is not wise for us as Christians to rationalize or speculate on his decisions.

If you want MY opinion, I think that 'god' doesn't have control over 'Satan' if he did then Satan wold still be an obedient angel.

The omniscience God, knowing full well that menkind will betray God in trying to be like God instead of submitting to God's will, created these creatures anyway as a demonstration. The perfect Holy God demonstrated perfect justice when He judged Satan. God instead demonstrated mercy and justice in Adam and Eve when he provided them with a covering in animal skin after the fall, meaning a sacrifice of propitiation.
The full propitiation came when the infinite God paid for the punishments of us all who sinned when God took on all the sins of the world upon himself and became sin for us on the cross. When that happened, all the Holy just wrath of God crushed His only son while the darkness filled the earth. The Christ who always cried out "Abba father" for the first time cries out "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" on the cross. And the punishment was paid for when all the wrath of God was drank by Jesus Christ. Then Jesus said, "It is finished." All the fine for your sins were paid for.
Now, God can justify his mercy upon the wicked and still be justified in forgiving the wicked as a just judge.
That my dear friend, publicly demonstrates to all principalities and all minions for all eternity how much God loves, how much God hates sin, and how much God is Holy, Just, and Grace and mercy abounding beyond comprehension.
Therefore, when God's chosen people stand before God, strengthend by God to stand there, we, who have repented and trusted in the works of the Savior from God's wrath, will for eternity glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in worship and praise for what He has done and who He is.
Jesus Christ as fully God and fully human is the last Adam. He came to earth to fully fulfill the law as a man to be the perfect sacrifice of sinless being. When we are in Christ, it means we are born again in Christ when God imputes Christ's righteousness to us in light of God's justification, meaning declaring us legally as right with God. If we're not in Christ, we're condemned already as we have the original Adam in us. I never have to teach a child to lie or steal or misbehave. Sin is engrained in them. If I sin just 3 times a day, I sin over 40,000 times when I'm fourty. And how many times did Adam sin before the judgment? how Holy is God? How much more is his grace and mercy? How tragic is it for mankind to go into punishment when God has provided a way out? Six times Jesus commands us to repent in the book of Revelation. First public words written of Jesus is Repent and believe the Gospel. And the Gospel in short is this. While you deserve justice and God's wrath, Jesus paid for fine in his life's blood. If you repent and trust in Jesus for your salvation for God, then You will be saved. Think of your sins and dwell on the thoughts of Christ on the cross for your sins, then come to Jesus knowing his kindness and grace and mercy. Are you as Holy as God? Have you lied, stolen or lusted? Have you always had God first in your life? Why would you want to live with God forever when you don't seek him everyday? Why go to Heaven when you don't want to be with God? Repent, and believe.
