I fell over a couple of months ago messing around. Whilst sprinting I jumped up to grab a leaf off a tree and lost my footing. I now have a mark on my cheekbone - redness of the skin. I have tried BioOil and although this is working, it is taking some time to heal.

I was told by my doctor that massaging the area will help!!! As scar tissue is quite hard you need to massage it to break it up. Its working pretty well on the scars i have and i havent been using BioOil. Hope this helps x

You can now buy scar reducing plasters and dreesings in Boots etc. There are a few diff makes. You may just want to wear them at night/in the house if itis on your face, but it may be worth a try.
Bio oil is good, it does take time though.
Good luck.

i always use Palmers cocoa butter. it is not only an excellent moisturiser, smells a little chocolatey, reduces stretch marks and only about £3 a bottle but it also evened out the colour of a scar i have. its available from chemists and supermarkets alike and if it doesnt work for your scar you will still have tried an excellent cream that i cant live without.

Although BioOil takes time to work, I do think it's the most effective, as my cousin used it on a burn mark and within a month it had more or less disappeared.
