They are regularly let outside and know to go there but we still find presents in the mornings. These dogs are maltese shitzu crosses and are inside when we're home and at night. They spend the day outside when we're not home. One dog is male one is female. Both are from the same litter. They also roll on our bed when we're not looking. Please help!

Are you giving them enough exercise? Even though they're small dogs they still need two good walks a day: if they're not getting out enough, and being encouraged to use the great outdoors as a toilet, they might think the house is as good a place to 'go' as the garden.
Also, you might have a separation anxiety issue going on, if they are left outside for long periods. They might be marking their territory to feel more secure.
A few training classes would be a good idea.

try keeping them in a kennel at night. make sure each dog has thier own kennel, that is just thier size. you dont want anything thats too big for them. line it with towels or a blanket. dogs like to stay clean, and most dogs will not use the bathroom in thier sleeping area. keep the kennel close to the door where they are usually let out at, so as soon as you get up in the morning, they can go straight outside. stay at this routine for a while, and you can eventually take the kennels away. be sure to take the dogs out before going to bed, and as soon as you get up. mabye even a couple times through the night in the beginning. not only does this prevent you from having suprises to clean up in the morning, but it gives the dog a personal place to sleep, this will become thier safe spot, and you will probally eventually find your dogs wanting to sleep in it through the day. if you prefer, you can keep a small bowl of food in the kennel with them.
