Well, it isn't just one specific place, but many. Any time I'm in an old growth forest (especially down by the waterfront in Tacoma, Washington and at the Hoh rain forest in northwestern Washington) or near the sea, it feels like a sacred place. Water and trees for some reason just speak to me.

For me, it's been places that other people esteem as sacred and holy.

There's an island in a lake about an hour away from me, that one of my friends feels is a sacred place. It's always cool for me to go there now.

I LOVE going to Church!!! But when I was a young child.....I lived on a farm and my family raised cattle, goats, and horses. Behind our barn was forest and these really cool rocky hills that I loved to climb and ride horses through. I always felt very at peace and thought that there had to be a part of heaven that looked like those hills. I haven't been on those hills in a long time......somehow I feel like I will never be home again, until I find a place like that to live on. I want to buy the land someday, but it is alot of acres.....I don't think I will ever be home again. :(

There is a small house in Turkey where it is said that Mary lived out her final years. It is in Ephesus, the ancient city of Troy. I felt wonder and love when I was there, not only for religious reasons but for the history of Troy. I also saw the ruins of the Temple of Diana and archaeological digs of ancient cities.

The place where I was born and grew up, my parents' house , on the shore of the lake with beautiful pine woods around.....its spirits.......... No better place than that so far, though I have been to and seen a lot of breathtaking places of the world.

Like CRICKET SAID.............places where Nature show's her hand... canyon de Chelly, the great crater, Yosemite, oregon's coast, cumberland gap, colorado, wyoming, grand canyon, a little waterfall in MD.... it's places like this, that are so old and lovely, that remind us how very small and quick to pass that we are.... it's there, that I feel like I can touch something that perhaps knew the name of the Creator....
