Why do I get dumb answers to intelligent questions? Why doesn't yahoo answers let you respond to them? And why do evolutionists and atheists all seem to mimic eachother? The brain is the only organ in the body that is capable of sleeping, therefore dreams don't take place in the brain. They take place in the mind, the brain of the soul. That is why most people have a hard time remembering their dream when they wake up. And I never known anything that can be at rest and at unrest at the same time. So if the brain doesn't sleep, then what is it that does? A: THE MIND. Which is why a person can be brain-dead, yet live. It is why some people who are in a coma can hear. Humans have a soul that once existed and communicated in Heaven. Therefore, humans knew there was someting in other humans capable of understanding, thus came language. God gave animals an artificial soul that didn't exist prior, but one capable of dreaming. Insects have no soul and therefore don't dream.

Nyce statement man, these are things nobody is 100% sure about they all speculate so how do you expect a decent answer from people who think they know something they know nothing about. 100000 points for you!!!!

Probably because you didn't ask an intelligent question. Do you think that you are smarter than scientists? That what scientists have researched and studied on sleeping and the brain are not true and what you pulled out of your *** is? The brain never stops working, the reason they have a hard time remembering is when they wake up their conscious flood in and erases their sub conscious they had in the dream. The reason someone can be brain dead yet still alive is because their brain is dead!! yet their organs are still working so they are alive because the heart and what not is still working. And again with this your soul is why you dream, it is because of your brain, the brain is in lowered productivity while you are sleeping and is why it dreams. Where do you get your info from? I guarantee you have nothing to back it up. Why has this never been published by scientists? Guess you know more than they do. Again, where was the intelligent question on this?

It appears that you have many questions and much to say. Perhaps in our limited ability to consume so much information in the unused portions of our brains - we are unable to respond to all of your questions with the ANSWERS YOU THINK WE SHOULD. The one thing that God did give us is the ability to think and reason and in my opinion with experience, knowledge and education, people are able to make many determiniations based upon those integers. So you also have to allow for FREE WILL. And sometimes, what you might think is an unintelligent response - could be completely based upon the person's knowledge and limited information.

Don't be so quick to judge people. If you ask a question, allow folks to respond in their own way. They may be right or they may be wrong - and they may be completely and totally off base - but we can only pray that God will increase in knowledge when one asks - as the Word states - if a man seeks wisdom - LET HIM ASK.

As a teacher, and one who attempts to set an example of good- I would never tell my students their answer was DUMB....perhaps not founded upon strong information that you might be able to prove, or perhaps not developed enough to explain - but never dumb.....one thing for sure - I don't know it all - and what I do not know - I ask the Lord for and the Holy Spirit, who is the GREATEST TEACHER opens my mind to new truths and realizations and will point me in the direction of what I need to know - be it through someone else - researched information or whatever the case may be - I am truly thankful that answers are varied and available to those who seek/

I think that you and many of those answering may be confusing mind with brain. Your brain is an amazing organ it controls our muscles, respiration, pulmonary function and a host of other lesser known functions, but it does not think.

Thought is a function of mind that exists independent of anything physical. What appears to be the brain thinking in brain function imaging and other brain measuring attempts is only blood flow being measured to the part of the brain that acts as an interface between the mind and the body. This is the secondary function of the brain after regulating bodily functions. It acts as the interface, or the mind body connection.

Without it there would be no way for the nonphysical mind to exert any control over the physical body.
It is interesting that science has done its best to overlook this fact for so long. The silly idea that thought is some magical function of some mysterious electrochemical reaction is so vague as to be hilarious. There are several ways to disprove this theory beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Being nonphysical in source your mind is in no way effected by the death of the body and loss of the mind body interface, or brain.

Love and blessings.

And exactly how do you know that insects dont dream? Did you ask one? Even earthworms have a very basic brain structure, is it possible that they dream?
Also don't ask questions for which there really is no right or wrong answer?

You get dumb answers because there are so many embedded assumptions and question that it would take 20 pages to discuss. Not to mention presenting evidence that contradicts some of your assumptions.

We don't have room to right that much.

Could you try asking one question at a time?

you make false assumptions due to lack of research and wisdom ... as well as too much and many
the brain is fueled by blood vessels 24/7
the conscious mind can be put into a different frequency
thought has no mass ..... try and see a brain as a HDD and the software as thoughts?

What intelligent question? ;-)

Brain death and coma are two different things. And when you cut the head off a chicken and it runs around, are you saying the chicken's 'mind' is making it run?

Do your research then come back...?

Obviously this was not one of those questions.
I think you sound like you need some sleep.

Brain dead is dead, in case you are unaware of that, and if the machines shut of then the rest of the body dies very quickly.
