it annoys me when ppl who r in shape & have never been overweight say somethin bout eatin like, "willpower" or "portion control". they have never been in that situation b4. that never worked for me. denise austin is still fat in her lower body, everythin else is great. ive done some research on the hypothalamus gland, and i think this "cure" will work. the first 24hrs, u lose 1-10 lbs. then after that, u just lose 1lb each day. u cant gain the weight back. my older sister tried eating a whole jar of peanut butter and no weight was gained. this product says u dont need to workout or "eat right."
so my question is, what is this product? im buying the book, but can this product be used by a 14 yr old?

like i said when other talk about "portion control" and "willpower"... even after u eat a "portion controled" meal, im still hungry! im 13 almost 14, i weight 127, and im5'3. im aiming 2 lose 30lbs.

i cant have soy cuz of my medication im taking :\ i have to take it for the rest of my life...

How do you know if people who are "in shape" have never been overweight? To see me a year ago, six feet, 150 (give or take five pounds) one would have probably never guessed that I used to weigh over 200 pounds, considered walking to the kitchen exercise, and lived on pure junk while I happily sat curled up somewhere hiding behind a book. I eat whole, real foods. No meat. No animal products. I used to do yoga and walk for at least two miles a day. (The way my pregnancy has been, and poor walking shoes and lack of money to buy new ones, have caused me to, unfortunately, temporarily cease the exercise.) I was skinny. Bone skinny. Now, I don't do fast food, candy bars and other forms of junk. (There's a reason why it's called JUNK food, but I don't classify it as food.)

I think I know to which late night infomercial you're referring. From what I've seen of it, there is nothing in there that cannot be found anywhere else. What the guy has said, eat healthy and cut out the pure junk, can definitely be found elsewhere. I don't think Denise Austin has an ounce of negative fat on her. If you think she's "fat" what do you consider skinny?

Okay. This product/book to which you're referring (and I would like to know the name of the book) says that one does not have to "eat right". Okay. So somebody decides to live on pure processed junk, and does things like cruise the drive through (because getting out of the car and walking inside is too much like exercise) and order double greaseburgers with cheese and jumbo grease sticks three times a day and snack on processed chemicalized junk and wind up with a heart attack or something else equally horrible. What a great outcome, eh?

However, I eat nothing but real, whole foods. (As I type this, I'm eating a breakfast of organic vanilla soy milk and Kashi! Go Lean Crunch!. Later, when I want a snack, I'll get some frozen fruit. Lunch will be boiled lentils with canned tomato sauce and some steamed veggies. I'll have more fruit for an afternoon snack. I'm going to talk my husband into making his whole grain pancakes with canned pumpkin and apple sauce in lieu of the oil and eggs.) Before I was blessed with my pregnancy, I was a healthy six feet, 170. I do care about what I eat, it's real, it's whole and it's as close as possible as to what God made it. Yes, I might be a little pudgy after my baby is born. So what. It will help for breastfeeding and I really don't care because I'm healthy. That's what matters.
