There's this girl i kno that i like and i kno she likes me back but i havnt asked her out yet partly cuz im kinda shy when it comes to this stuff but also because i want to do it face to face and not over the phone but school starts on monday and i still havnt asked her out but i want to before school starts so should i wait or just ask her out right away on the phone?

if your shy don't worry. Being nervous is half the fun.
I consider it an adrenaline rush.
nothing beats it except the first kiss.
sometimes it can come off as cute if they notice your shy, but if you recoil in fear, they'll might be disturbed. Women love confidence, but like to know they also have the power to make you nervous.
I'd ask her in person if I were you. You still have the weekend.
Call her and ask if she wants to go get some coffee or a bite to eat. then just be honest with her and let it out.
(Movies can be to long and awkard, and dinners the same way)
when you tell her, don't lay it on long and hard, just get the idea across and give her room to reply.
Also fishing around and making some physical contact helps you judge the situation.
A brush of the hand or something and see how she reacts.
Moving in close and slowly to her personal space when standing/walking beside each other can shed a lot of light on how she feels about you by the way she reacts.

just go for it , the longer you leave it the harder it will get, and if you never get round to it you will always wonder what could of been plus whats the worst that can happen? she can say no right but at least you know then and can move on, these things are usually better face to face but thats your call if your too shy to do it face to face, good luck.

when you first ask her out, be really relaxed about it, it can be a big deal, but don't act like it is, just ask her if she wants to "hang out" at the movies or just shoot up the arcade,
it's rare that people still ask "do you want to go out with me?" It's actually better to ask her at a more random time, especially if you're talking to her about movies or the weekend. Asking her after school or something, face-to-face, would be a little discomforting on both sides.

if u wanna do it face to face then wait.. but if u feel ur gonna be more confident over the phone do it that way if she likes u i dont think she'll really care how you do it! good luck!!
