There is one Christian religion. The main differences are merely in terms of church structure. Protestants tend to have just a congregation and a pastor, Orthodox churches tend to have bishops and such, and Catholic churches have an even larger hierarchy including a Pope. But in terms of theology they do not really differ greatly.

I do not generally give them much thought.
However, I can tell you that as a former Roman Catholic.....these are difficult times for Christianity. Christians however, seem to be doing well.
Just goes to show you, beliefs can be shaky and ever-changing, but if you have Faith....metaphorical mountains will move before you do.
Also, a note...be careful when grouping Christians together, they seem determined to avoid Unity.
Good Luck and Goddess Bless.

It is perhaps irrelevant to compare denominations, when they are all almost identical. I am personally a Catholic, but I have not problem with Anglicans, Protestants or Orthodox.

I think there are way more than three. Catholics are the most entertaining, they use a lot of mysticism and silly nonsense to make it look theatrically spooky. Which is interesting, it's what, in thousands of years of Religious evolution, have come to expect.
Protestants have a powerful command over mind-control, and have helped evolve that technique over the last hundred years into something powerful, but, something you sort of feel like not being a part of, generally. The way they speak with big booming voices, and throwing in key crazy phrases--it's skillful, but off-putting.
Orthodox are boring boring people.
Organized religion in general sort of subscribes to a wikiality of interpretation, it's sort of a way to identify yourself as part of something, and giving your license to creative discovery over to a, as Nietzsche put it, herd mentality. I, personally, don't like it at all. But to each their own.

both are right to a certain level.
i cannot say catholic are wrong becaue they are basically suiting their religion accordingly to the era they are in.
i cannot say protestant are wrong because they stick with traditional rules.
i choose not to choose any and start my own doctrine instead with me as the only member.
happier this way and i get to poke fun at the stupidity of some people here

I think that the world would be a far worse terribal place without them and I don't believe in any of them. But could you imagine a world without religion and anarchy rules. The world would be chaos. You wouldn't want that.

There are WAY more denominations than that. Christianity must be one of the most splintered faiths out there.
