Is there a stressful or long term, deep event going on in your life right now?
Thinking of the paranormal and supernatural is sometimes a defenese mechanism (a way of escaping and coping).
It could mean you are afraid of death, someone dying, or that you may simply be errked by some external event.

It means that evil spirits are present and if you are a Christian, you have to let them know that they have no power over you because you are more than a coquerer through Jesus Christ. They can't hurt you but can influence and try to trap you.

I have had a dream like that before and it usually happened when i was very stressed or feeling bad in my life. I would think that it is when you are stressed and you dream of devil because you are feeling bad and fearful in your life anyway and its your subconscious coming out in your dreams. or you might be guilty of something in your life so you dream that because of your subconscious thoughts

Always Keep in mind...Christ Defeated Sin and Death....the devil has already lost, and you are in Christ's hand...nothing can take you out.

Have faith and pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and always pray for others when you are having a time of crisis. Resist the devil and he will flee. Remember God is with you always. The devil has no power over Christians. The Lord is with us and will never leave us.

You spent too much time listening to Christian dogma.
I watched Dukes of Hazzard every week as a kid, and I dreamed I was in the show, and Daisy Duke taught me how to be a woman.
