If you are reading the Holy Bible thoroughly, it is written there that the Lord God is the only true God. That means there are "personas" who are misconceived by humans as gods but they are not. For instance, Lucifer or Satan. Satan, as you may know, is originally an angel of God. And an angel can never become or be promoted as a god. In short, Satan is not, was not, and will never be a god.

Some may say Satan is "a god" but he was in fact an Angel that went against GOD the ALMIGHTY. He is a fallen angel, a ruler of this system of things until Armageddon. Satan is not a type of "God" for There are many "gods" but only one true "God!"
GOD: the Supreme Being, understood as Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, Principle. The Almighty, The Creator of all things, The Heavenly Father.
gods: one of several deities, esp. a male deity, presiding over some portion of worldly affairs.
1 Corinthians 8:5-6
5For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
6But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Psalm 82:1
1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Christians have demonised most of the pagan gods over the years, and Cernnunos, being a horned god, is a prime example having been falsely called the devil for many years. So in answer to your question, I would say the Devil is not only a god, but an amalgamation of many gods, so called to frighten people away from their own religions and into christianity. I am not frightened by it, and I honour the old gods.

satan is not a god!God had created satan as an angel among other angels. In the bible it says we have free will 2 do what we please but god wants us 2 be a follower of christ! He wanted 2 be god so he rebelled against the lords rules so wich god let him go and cast him into the pits of hell.Satan rules hell n ne 1 who goes 2 hell has eternity of pain in suffering.Ne1 that wants 2 do evil or selfish things will go there 4 pleasen there self n that's what satan did wanted 2 over throw god n do what he wanted, but we as man or women were created in his likeness 2 please the lord.

NO NO NO it was one of the angels CREATED BY GOD (JESUS). GOD had create it good but it had disobeyed God and God punished him it became a dark angel . satan is given a limited power by God .so God gave the human kind a free will to choose the right way, the existence of satan is just a little false choice but its end is in the lake of fire wit his followers this is the end of his limited world because JESUS(God) is lord Almighty had won the war after He had became a human .so human kind had won withe Jesus when accept Jesus work on the cross . Jesus had not need to win against satan because HE IS GOD THE CREATER HE HAD DO THIS FOR US SO WHY HE BECAME A HUMAN . FOR HE LOVED US TOO MUCH JESUS WAS IS AND WILL ALWAYS THE ALMIGHTY GOD HE HAD ALL THE CONTROL AND ABILITY TO DO WHAT HE WANTS WITHE what or who he wants.but don't forget GOD IS GOOD .

Yes he is, but is he the type of god you want to believe in and why? If you believe in the Bible, Satan is doomed, if you do not believe in the Bible, then why would you believe in Satan?

No Satan is an Angel gone bad.
No one can be like God. That would make the definition of what God is wrong: perfect, omnipotent, omniscient, all-good.

he actually tried to dethrone God with 1/3 of the angels in Heaven. He was tripping, I mean, come on, an angel against God? God being all mighty, all knowing, all perfection. There was no way he was gonna succeed and so he was thrown down to hell with his angels.

Christians made all kinds of gods. Actually the Jewish book was misread by the Christians and that's where Satan comes in. You see, God has no competition or else He wouldn't be God.
Christians read the book wrong, period.

Satan might be rooted in Mesopotamia as they wrote of lizard people from a collided planet that upgraded our genes . now a days it's just the fallen angel of false pride as told by theologians (sales and marketing ) in the Catholic church.
