"Assassino" is also used like an informal exlamation with friends, for example when a person loses a game.

Ex. "Sei un assassino!"
- "You're a killer!" (You have made me to lose)

There also other meanings:

- A person who makes many damages when he works.
ex. "Quel dottore è un assassino!"
"That doctor is a killer!" (That doctor works in a bad way)

- Something dangerous
Ex. "Mano assassina, spada assassina,..." (Killer hand, killer sword, meaning dangerous)

- Something "hot" or impressive
Ex. "Sguardo assassino" (Killer gaze, meaning impressive or hot)

- Something hard and no profitable
Ex. "È un lavoro assassino" (It's a killer work) (It's a hard and no profitable work)

As an adjective, assassino means murderous.
As a verb, with an accent on the 'o', it's the 3rd. perseon singlular past indicative of assassinare and means he/she/it/you killed/murdered/assassinated.
As a verb, but without any accent, it's the 1st person present indicative and means I kill, etc.
