I know you love your dog. It's tough being a kid when Mom and Dad don't take good care of the dog, and you feel so responsible. Honestly, your dog should have a safe place to stay during the storm. But that is Mom and Dad's responsibility not yours. They are the ones who can get in trouble for not providing a safe place for the dog.
I am sure he will make it through tonight, then try to put him out early before he can mess up the house.

Buy the poor thing a doghouse,or better yet, give him away to someone who CAN keep him indoors.Oh,and tell your Mom the next time it storms,to go outside and sleep in the rain and lightning!
I read one of your other questions, which asks what kind of dog Rocky is.In your photos on Flickr,it looks like you live on a farm, there is a barn and outbuildings, and another dog.Where does that dog sleep and why can't they sleep in one of the buildings or the barn?

Hmm i don't think it's right that you're parents won't let your dog inside the house if it's thundering outside. You should convince your parents that your dog shouldn't be outside when it's thundering/lightning because he can get really scared and get seriously sick. If i were you i would try going to garage sales and stuff or save up your own money to buy your dog a house.

well you did the rite thing the poor little buggar can't stay out side in this weather.
i'm like you even though my dogs have a kennel i still let them stay in when its bad weather expecially thunder.
your best bet is to try and convince them he needs a kennel.it will be a lot easier than trying to convince mum to let the dog stay in
tell them that you will save your pocket money to get him one
if they see your making an effort they might just get him one.
parents are good like that.

have you asked about letting him stay in the garage? Or, tell him to suck it up, be a dog, and brave the great out doors.

please please please try to find a better home for your dog.. it is extremely INHUMANE and abusive to force your dog to live in isolation outside in the elements (with or without a dog house) dogs are pack memebers and are very very social creatures......... now if your dog is petrified of storms and you continue to leave him out,,, you may be reported for animal abuse........ REHOME THAT POOR POOR DOG....... my god.. perhaps you could live in the dog house outside with him... see how you like it.......
