i'm referring to the order of matins, order of vespers, order of martyrs, etc. where did this stuff come from exactly? is it a part of apostolic tradition, or an invention (and i don't mean that in a bad way) of the early roman catholic church, or what?

You may be interested in this site, which does a very good job of exploring the history and development of liturgical worship. It covers not only Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic liturgics but also Jewish, early Christian, and Protestant: http://www.liturgica.com/html/lit.jsp

Your mention of matins, vespers, etc. refers to the Liturgy of the Hours (Divine Office), which is the public daily prayer of the whole Church, as "both preparation for and continuation of the action of the Eucharist throughout the day". Again, here's an informative site: http://www.fdlc.org/Liturgy_Resources/Liturgy_of_the_Hours1.htm

The major timepoints of the day were sanctified with prayer.especially Psalms in the early Church.
The Early Monastic Movement had 7(from the Psalms"7 times a day I will praise you") "horae" or prayertimes in the day and Nocturns or night vigils.
The roots were in apostolic tradition of going in Acts to the Temple to pray in the morning and late afternoon and to gather for prayer and Eucharist probably in the evening, drawing from Jewish traditions.

It's mainly derived and adapted from similar Jewish traditions that were inherited by default in the early Church. Beyond that I don't know the details.

<> Because they do not know Catholicism? And why could they, because of the reality they are no longer Catholic, correct? Outside the Catholic Church, there's little suppose and train of Intercessory prayer to Mary and the saints. Therefore, they do not realise it. They incorrectly interpret Intercession as an act of worship, and consequently believe Catholics are "Mary worshippers". <> Exactly - and that is the hindrance! The ministers that those persons are paying attention to are NOT CATHOLIC. They don't have any command of Catholic Dogma, and but they pontificate as though they do recognize. The best of such sermons is theologically deficient certainly. Any theology that has to construct itself up by means of knocking others down is a theology that leaves plenty to be favored. <> Such feedback are self-obvious evidence that they did not pass - no longer 'even as soon as'. It's a LIE correctly. For a Southern Baptist, the very notion of going within a Catholic apartment of worship AT ALL is unthinkable. <> More than disrespectful, it is HATEFUL - and that constitutes BIGOTRY. <> True. Catholic do evangelize, however in a extra docile method. It is not going, however no longer exceptional, for a Catholic to take the initiative and try evangelization and not using a welcome. Catholics are greater than completely satisfied to speak at period their perception and train to any person coming to them asking questions. This personally is so much mighty considering Catholics emerge as speakme to persons who come to them in need of to grasp, and their minds are open to the solutions as good. <> All you ought to do is inform them the Truth. Say, "Catholics do not worship Mary." Make a factor of citing this Truth is self-obvious. Catholics suppose the whole thing their Church teaches as being TRUE. Therefore, IF Catholics truthfully did worship Mary, Catholics could under no circumstances deny Mary worship considering Catholics could suppose it to be True. So the reality Catholics DO DENY Mary worship is self-obvious evidence that Catholics do not worship Mary.
